I was just thinking about how Ogres in the WOC book don't have impact hits as described by the special rules in the OK book.
I'm wondering if they should be given these rules because they are I fact "ogres" and as such any rules that'd apply to an ogre could potentially apply to them. Just to clarify I'm mostly concerned with the rules on charging and impact hits.

I'm pretty sure they won't get the rules simply because these are two different books, but I would love to have them get just a little extra oomp.

They are two different books, keep dreaming lol. Until a faq or new army book is released that says otherwise, Ogre Kingdoms> Chaos Ogres

Yeah that's what I thought, it was wishful thinking indeed!

It would be really cool though, and I'd even pay a few more points for it seeing as how marked chaos armor wearing great weapon ogres with impact hits would be pretty awesome!

When WoC get an update they will probably get Impact Hits(1)


As it is, WoC Ogres are only slightly overpriced. The ability to wear Chaos Armor and get marks is a nice bonus thats worth paying a little extra for.
