Well, i really love Eagles, they cost a merely 50 points, and do so much to the opponent. The idea for this army, is to form 2 central blocks of infantry, first the Lions, followed by Spearmens.

Mage and archers stays behind, shooting and boosting the central block.

Eagles and Silver Helms will go for flanks. they do a very good job with flanks. So , this is my first army.

in fact i have at least 2000+ points of HE, but i want to start with a few points for my first battle.

what do you think of this army? at this ammount of points?

My first thought is that at 1250, tempting as it may be, a prince is probably more points than you ought to be spending on characters. Suspect that you might be better off with a BSB Noble and your mage...

I'm not entirely sure what your banners are- I'm thinking there's a translation issue here. Are the effects +1M (Quickness) and Terror (Howler) respectively? If so, I think you can do better. The spears are probably not in a rush to get somewhere, and you might be better served with a flaming banner somewhere instead.
