Hey you all i was looking on youtube and i found several videos with this same model of the emperor, does anyone know where i can buy it?

There's no official Emperor model.

That being said, if GW came out with a limited edition finecast Emperor they'd sell out in like 5 minutes, no matter how expensive it was.

A lot of independent companies make a model of The Emperor, but GW has never and probably will never make an actual model. You don't make models of gods.

They're corporeal forms of the gods, not the actual gods themselves, like autonomous avatars.

Yeah, they were gods, and it was a dumb idea to have a model for a god in regular old 40k. I mean why the hell would you have a God who can spawn black holes and explode stars fight in a regular old battle?

Sadly, that's why the shards make a bit more sense.

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

I know ages ago Mike McVey made a diorama of the Emperor and Horus fighting on Horus' battle barge. Could that be the figure you are looking for? If so that was a complete custom made figure. Easier to do when you are a figure painter and part time figure scupltor (albeit not a very good sculptor...hahahahaha).

It always struck me as odd why the C'tan would even care about battles. Oh there is a conflict and people on that planet have a problem with me...ok bye bye planet! what's for lunch??

Of course I also think that chapter masters show up for battles a bit too often as well. How many times does Vulkan need to appear in the smallest battles of the Salamanders?? Really?? Shouldn't the chapter master not be bothered except maybe in an Apocalypse scale game, or even better an epic scale game where the whole company is fighting?? 40k battles are supposed to be skrimishes. Why would the chapter master be personally fighting in a small skirmish on the battlefront when he should be overwatching the whole battle?? Super important, but highly dangerous mission behind enemy lines?? Again why would you send your chapter master on such a mission?? He has underlings who have been trained at his behest to undertake these missions...and really does Abaddon have to lead *every* chaos incursion around Cadia??

Actually, Vulkan has some reason to jump into every battle, he is responsible for recovering the artifacts left behind by the original Vulkan (the primarch). Every battle can be seen as a clue to finding the next artifact, bringing the Salamanders closer to rejoining their primarch who had left the legion, much in the same way as Leman Russ of the Space Wolves.

I loved the old necron fluff, but the C'tan were one thing I could never fully come to grips with. Having gods on the board wouldn't even be fair, but it was somehow, which was contradictory, really.

GW made a model for Lemon Rust back in the day. But I doubt they'd ever do it again. That was in the dark ages of GW.

Oh and Khain!

But yeah generally speaking one does not make models of gods.

Khaine is much like what the current C'tan models are now. Just a shard.

& the Emperor's body is just a vessel for his soul.

There's a lot of hints that if Rogal had just let him die the Emp would have reincarnated by now.

I think it's beyond silly that in a game with gods, demons, avatars, titans and ICBMs for anyone to say the Emp or the Primarchs are 'too powerful'. They're fine, they're not given stats more to keep up some awe and magesty than balance.

That model looks way better than the one in the video.
The video one looks like they tried to cram far too many "OMGAWESOMECOOL" stuff onto the model.

That's just an avatar of Khaine, which, thankfully, the C'tan are now just avatars as well. The idea of an actual god being on a battlefield is ridiculous, as is the notion of them getting killed by long fang spam.

Turns out if you read the comments in those videos you end up here, where they sell ludicrously overpriced primarch minis, including the emperor model you're looking for.

Oh come on, how on earth are those prices justified. £40 for a single miniature.

The scibor stuff is less than half that.

Of course if GW would just pull their thumb out and make these figures there wouldn't be such a market for them.

That is clearly just meant to be for GW. It's so obvious I can't be bothered.

The model that looks like Horus... the Fallen Son? That sounds original.

The model that looks like the Iron Warriors Primarch... Lord of Iron? That's a totally new concept.

The fact this hasn't already been gutted by GW is probably cause they make and sell the models...
