FW posted these as a teasers to the next newsletter.

No real description, but I'm guessing heresy era vehicle crews and another character or character add-on bitz kit... minotaurs by the shoulder pad symbol.

I really want that helmet for a Legion of the Damned model.

FW newsletter 294 calls these sneek peek and just names the sculptors.
Mark Bedford, Simon Egan.

But like those 2. A Tank commander and a undead SM

FW newsletter 294: ( without pics as the only new things are posted already in the OP )

Hi there,
Happy new year from all of us here at Forge World! In this week’s newsletter we’ve got a reminder of the last few releases of 2011, two of which are shipping now, and a sneak peek at a few of the fantastic kits we’ve got planned for release later in 2012…

Macharius Omega and Deimos Pattern Predator
Macharius OmegaWhile the sins of innovation and initiative are frowned upon by the Adeptus Mechanicus, new patterns and designs of weapons and armoured vehicles are still created. The Macharius Omega is one such vehicle, created with a single focus, that of the battlefield deployment of the Omega Pattern Plasma Blastgun. Designed by Stuart Williamson, this is an extremely detailed full resin kit featuring some incredible interior detail.

The Predator is a highly effective medium tank designed to provide Space Marine detachments with heavy fire support in the heat of battle. The Deimos Pattern Predator is one of many variants, first issued en-masse to the Space Marine Legions of the Great Crusade. Designed by Daren Parrwood and Will Hayes, the Deimos Pattern Predator is a fantastically detailed and iconic design, making it a great addition to a Space Marine army.

Both of these fantastic kits are available to order now for immediate despatch.

MkIIb Land Raider
Our ever-popular MkIIb Land Raider is now back on sale. In response to customer feedback we have added ‘blank’ side doors to this kit to allow greater personalisation. We have also added a range of MkIIb Land Raider Door Sets to our online store should you wish to add sculpted details rather than decals or etched brass.

The MkIIb Land Raider, designed by Will Hayes, is available to order now for immediate despatch.

Imperial Armour Volume 11: The Doom of Mymeara
Imperial Armour Volume Eleven - The Doom of MymearaThe first shipment of this hotly anticipated Imperial Armour book sold out almost as soon as we made them available just prior to Christmas. The second shipment is arriving soon so we are now able to announce that Imperial Armour Volume 11: The Doom of Mymeara is available to pre-order now for despatch from the 19th January.

We’ve added a Q&A document to our website, and don’t forget that we recorded an interview with Talima Fox from the Imperial Armour writing team about her favourite parts of the new book.

Forge World Future Releases
There’s a huge list of amazing projects in the pipeline for 2012, and we’ve got two exclusive sneak peeks for you to ponder over:

Sneak PeakSneak Peak

The first is something we ‘borrowed’ from Mark Bedford’s desk, while the second you can see part of Simon Egan’s current project – a return to the Badab War perhaps? At the larger end of the Forge World spectrum we are currently working on two sizeable vehicle kits for the noble Adeptus Astartes.

A good way of finding out what these kits could be is to join us at the Forge World Open Day held at Warhammer World here in Nottingham. Our entire Studio team will be showing off their latest releases and future projects, and as always it is free to attend.
It’s on Sunday 1st April so keep an eye on our Events page for more details.

Thanks,
Ead Brown

Doubt he's undead... a chaplain, most likely?

Sizable vehicle kits they say... is FW finally giving us a marine super heavy tank after 3 years of saying they'd like to do one? With all the heresy era work they've been doing I wonder if it will be styled more like that or the newer style?-Maybe they'll take the artwork in the from of a couple of the Rogue Trader era rulebooks and produce a Hercules tank.

Clearly FW is crossing the line! That marine tank commander is neither bald nor screaming!

Nice job on both but I also especially like the skull greek helmet on the marine with the strange inquisitorial markings. Very interesting...

The later one's also using the pre-heresy armour (look at the backpack), but that helmet plume...thing...confuses the matter of him being a chaplain. Pitty that there's not really all that much new information in this news letter, just them trying to sell their recently released stuff. =/

It's definitely a helmet. The eyes aren't shaped right for it to be an actual skull. Forgeworld would not make that error.

I look forward to this kit. I've never bought FW SM add-on kits before, but I might just have to pick up this kit. The helmet is amazing. His backpack looks to be a different style, too.

This is quoted from a user on the Facebook page:

"That has to be Minotaurs Chaplain Ivanus Enkomi !!!

Powerfist, Crozius, Auxiliary Grenade Launcher and either Void Hardened Armour or a Jump Pack. Gives he and his squad +2 attacks on the charge rather than +1. "

Oh and those shots of the Macharius Omega have been up for a while since the actual kit has been released. =P

Don't know which iconography you're looking at but I see the Minotaur's chapter symbol there. See the lower left door for better example. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/DefaultFW/xlarge/minotaursrhinod.jpg

Good catch... that's the one that looks =I= to me at least (and I suspect Kan too). I didn't realize that was a semi-standard symbol for the minotaurs.

*shrug*
It looks like an Inquisitorial sigil to me. But that's because I assumed the upper parts were raised relief of the shoulderpad itself.

Inquisition symbol has three (3) horizontal lines in the center, not two.

Do the High Lords have a personal symbol? (Other than the Imperial Eagle)

That Minotaur Icon looks a bit too close to the Inquisition symbol imho. especially for a chapter that has a dubious standing in the Inquisitions eyes.

YMMV.

Pretty awesome looking faceplate though.

They do not have a dubious standing. Where was that information pulled from? Thin air?

To be fair, that's not entirely true. There's some without the horizontal line, some with, some with a skull in place of the lines, etc.
The "I" is the sigil itself and can be adapted for each person who has seemingly "earned" the right to display it.
Most use the triple horizontal line though. The photo in question has a single line and then a weird squiggly line over it which is easy to interpret as some kind of relief detail of where the sigil is placed.

Inquisitors find it difficult to access any information on them and they are reported to respond directly to the High Lords requests. It is unknown if they are the Cursed Founding chapter that shares their name. They are forbidden from entering Ultramar. This is all gained from Lexicanum, whilst not exactly fluff, it's a fluff summary.

Although this is getting off topic.

Either IA 9 or 10. They are rumored to undergo a daemonic possession as part of their training.

You are thinking of the Exorcists chapter.

The Minotaurs have preferred enemy: space marines as they are deployed by the High Lords/Inquisition to fight renegade space marines. This is from the badab war books.
