Okay, since my eldar fandex is pretty much done except for some artwork and fluff pieces, (See here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/409876.page) I decided that I would give a sisters of battle codex a try. Since there's not a codex for them on the horizon and have been playing them since 2nd ed on and off I thought it would be fun.

It's still in the rough draft stage so there's not a upfront fluff section. All the acts of faith, special rules, abilities and equipment are labeled as such at the BACK of the codex. (And will be organized more efficiently later) I wanted to make sure the rules were solid before I worked on the art and the fluff as that is the most difficult part.

I reached back into the fluff to find some older characters and equipment upgrades (Blessed ammunition for example). Homebrewed a character and modded some of the old 2nd ed ones.

I changed the faith point generation system so that it stacks better for larger games. It is now not just 1D6, it is 1D3 per point level. (I.E 2D3 for a standard 1500 point game and 3D3 for a 2000 point game ect.) This changed Jacobus' 'Protector of the Faith' ability a little so he's no longer an auto take. I tweaked some of the point levels on weapons and acts of faith. I shifted the engines around so heavy support is a bit more open. I added the 'Sisters of Silence' and a named character for them. Made the vehicle upgrade section more expansive.

I changed Cannonness' and added Prioress' along with modding the command squad to be more flexible. Put in the old Zealot squads, added a new vehicle that I'm not 100% sold on.

Any entry that has a question mark next to it (Some characters have '?' next to their points for example) means that I'm not sure what their points should be, or what their names should be.

Edit: (I forgot to put the rules in for Mantle of Ophelia and Anointed armour) They are as follows:

Mantle of Ophelia: Increases the models 'Shield of faith' save to a 5+
Anointed armour: Increases the the armour save of the model to 2+

The point of a fandex is to fix things in the mind of the writer. Most people agree that the SoB list in the WD isnt all that good.

Yes, an 11 page WD dex does not a Codex make.

I'm trying to restore their old glory, or at least some of it at least.

If Sisters looked as awesome as how you draw them I'd totally play them. They could use some more units, but other then that very nice work. If you ever need any help with it let me know.
