Does anybody know what on earth that tube is that sticks up the left nostril of a marine when he has Tactical Dreadnought Armour on? You don't see it on every picture but you do on a fair few. If you look on the front cover of the HH book Age of Darkness, you will see that Horus has one of the ominous looking things up there and you will also see it in a few pictures in the Collected Visions too.

Any idea's my fellow Dakkite's?

That's more of a Chaos thing, especially Nurgle, than a terminator armor thing.

Melissa has it right. Chaos tends to look like insane genetic experiments rather than anything normal, hence the crazy tubes coming out of every which way.

IIRC, The tubes are done for the purpose of delivering combat drugs and air to the brain of the Marine in question.

I believe they are used as like a life support line.

I believe it also dispenses coca-cola when the Marine is thirsty.

Who knows what it does, it was put there to look cool, like so many warhammer things.
