Hey guys I've been meaning to put up some pics for a while now to share my work and ive finally gotten around to taking some, since mywork is ongoing i thought id make a blog and post as i go, just as soon as i figure out how to upload my images :/

It's not so tough. From your profile, go to your gallery and "Upload More Images" (the next few steps are pretty intuative, so I'll skip them)

Thanks Rawson, just sorted it, they are not the best quality as i took them with my phone, but without further adieu..

This is my first wip, almost finished the face and got some armour to sculpt on the arms then i can paint the rest of him





my first finecast, also wip



another wip, just got to put some scripture on him now i think



and finally my last wip of the day, tried sculpting a new hand for him but it didnt work so i cut it up, going to re do it

How do you plan on painting the GS bits on the trooper and inquisitor since the rest of the model is already painted?

hey thanks again Rawson, yeh i too like the lasgun, i tried to make it more of an xm8, well ive only really painted the skin so it will be fairly easy to paint them without too much trouble, jut need to find a colour scheme for the guardsman's uniform, while i was browsing i happened to stumble across your blog too, and i must say i was thoroughly impressed with your army its very well put together, well done especially your sniper sergeant, on another note i managed some free time to do a bit more, i really should try to stick to one thing at a time :/

first up, i think this model comes from the rackam line, ive slightly converted him by putting the sword in his hands so it looks like hes striding forward as he draws his sword, he still needs highlights on his hair and boots



and finally my attempt at a truescale marine, still a lot of work to be done this one but thought id put up a wip anyway

I was more refering to the neccessary lack of primer if you go that route. Do you usually paint without primer? Could be something to look into...
As for the uniform, have some thoughts you want to run by us?

He looks like you're headed in the right direction. His arm looks a bit ape-ish at the moment. I think it's because his forearm is a bit too long to be proportional.

hey sorry guys, been a bit busy lately, work has taken up way too much of my time, anyway...

Rawson, i dont use primer but it is something i should look into, i usually just undercoat it with thinned chaos black paint, as for the uniform i was thinking about an urban theme, but still not sure about colours or patterns as of yet
shall do, no doubt you have plenty more done since i last checked

update; I have repositioned the forearm on my truescale marine and bulked out the top half so it looks more human now, shall post pics tomorrow when i get some free time

thanks Tortured-Robot, I've made a little more progress since my last post, I've added the other arm, made progress on the gun on the fist, and redid the belt buckle and abdomen, because i didn't think they fitted in with the scale, by the time i post a pic i'd have finished it lol

ok minor update, i have started to repaint my inquisitor coteaz that i dug out of the attic, its very wip, at the moment but thought id share



as for the truescale marine i have almost completed him, but im going to wait until he's ready to paint before i post a pic

and seeing as you posted about the TS marine i thought i'd show the progress after all, still got a bit of sculpting to do on the legs and tidy it all up but its getting there

looks very good. orginaly with the unpainted black cloak, it looked like he belonged in star wars.. but now he looks perfect, with the roman royalty of the purple cloaks
