One mistake that Monster Rain made was assaulting with the C'Tan.

One weakness of Paladins is that you have to charge what you shoot, so if you just stood it front of me I would have to shoot/charge it to deal with it and that means that it would take them out of action for a turn. So by charging I got to kill you in your turn which freed me up to shoot and assault other things in my turn, and I got a free consolidation most to get closer to your army.

I played this game mostly for a learning experiment, and I learned a lot. For example I had my paladins going after some immortals and Draigo was split off and was going to assault destroyers. I shot up the immortals before assaulting and they came back right in front of Draigo and prevented me from getting to the destroyers. Next time I will not shoot them and just butcher them in assault.

You look familiar Blackmoor, where do you normally play and what tournaments do you frequent?

Since this was in the days before the Crons were on Army Builder I'm going off of memory here. I'm about 99% sure this was it though.

Very true! I sometimes over estimate these new C'Tan shards. The Nightbringer ain't what he used to be.

I will start putting army lists after the players....

That right I was judging the Baltimore GTs and I have been to Adepticon a few times =P That is probably where it was then.
