I've been to the GW shop in Downtown Nyc, but it seems players only play pre-arranged games down there with close friends. I live in queens, and am hoping to find either a gaming group or a newcomer-friendly store in the NYC/Queens area reachable by public transportation.

When I lived in Astoria I played at the Complete Strategist on 5th Ave and 33rd street, accessible from Herald Square and the 6 train's 33rd street stop. The club there is the Warmongers.

I wish there was more opportunities to game in nyc, the 8th st gw isn't that bad, a few regulars are annoying but it's pretty easy to play a good game and the terrain's nice. I live in astoria queens too btw

I'm in queens as well, hoping to find a group more local than the warmongers (they play thursday nights, which are when I have my night class)
