Essentially, an Iranian linked with the Nuclear Weapons program was killed by attackers on a motorbike attachign a magnetic bomb to his car.

Anything that stops such a flying rodent gak insane country like Iran getting Nukes is a good thing.

It's unfortunate that Iran is batgak crazy, otherwise we could find out some interesting stuff about international relations. Like who built this bomb (I assume there is some characteristic style to bombmaking) and why they did it.

Then again, perhaps if Iran wasn't batgak crazy then stuff like this wouldn't happen.

But hey, at least we can blame Israel for this.

Quelle dommage. I suspect being an Iranian nuclear scientist is an increasingly dangerous job.

Iran is a whole different kettle of fish. They actually do want to nuke places off the planet and they are desperate to get the bomb. They make North Korea look sane.

This is the kind of thing that should be nipped in the bud until they prove they can handle the bomb.

Not surprisingly, partially because of Iran, the armageddon clock has been moved forward.

I don't think it was just Iran, but N Korea also as well as the failure of the major powers to continue their nuclear disarmament that they had previously agreed to.

I think just having those things in existence is the biggest threat to the human species, or at the very least civilization, ever known. You can say that those in possession of the US/Russia/China are relatively secure, but the opportunity still exists for one to be 'mislaid'. In fact, it is strong rumoured that this happened during the collapse of the Soviet Union - a bomb travelling by train between the Ukraine and Russia and never arriving etc.

We won't be truly safe until every single last one of them is dismantled.

If they want one, they'll get one.
