Ok, so finished my cairn wraiths.

I used GirlPainting's youtube tutorial as inspiration. Used my airbrush more than I so far have on infantry model. Models were fun to paint, made some mistakes but I think they look good. Only thing im not happy with are the shafts of the scythes.

Any tips on that, suggestion or wishes?

All comments are appreciated.
Cheers

Ps. I dont play VC, they are for sale

Love the green, the blending is really good. For the scythe I would just try badab black wash to see if that helps.

Cheers UnCool Villain, I am happy you like it. It took a few layers to see how it comes out but I am also pleased with the result.

Thanks pop32, very nice to get some feedback. All kinds of criticism, tips and kind words motivate me to post more stuff.

Thanks Nira!
I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. You can put them in my P&M thread if you dont want to post them here. The links on my siggie Talking about painting will most likely teach me a lot since I am quite new to this, so always eager to try to write something down about it.

Thanks Tortured-robot!

I will try to do a similar fade effect on the plastic necromancer to see how it turns out. Wanna try a different color though. Lets see what comes out

I agree with UV that the scythe looks a little flat. Perhaps a little rust of gore?

Thanks for the feedback LeetBix! I am hesitant to add gore to modes, maybe I have traumas from the new gw-style to paint ogres. But it might add some color to the model. I think I will try it out on one of them!!
Alternatively I could try rust with pigments, havent tried to paint rust yet.

Anyway, thanks a lot fot the reminder, I think ill go back on them once the other vc are done!
