I noticed models I had displayed for a while have a dusty appearance.  [RSS] Share on facebook Share on Twitter Submit to Reddit

The obvious is to atempt to dust them off. I tried this and it did not work very well I used a damp q-tip, but when it dried it still had odd apperance. I can simply thouch up the area with a very thin layer of paint. Real question is has this happened to any of you, and did you find a way to prevent/clean the models up short of breaking out the paintbrush. I have enough unpainted models as is. Thanks guys.

Wot! Grot damn it!

Dusty as in "left unattended and they were covered in dust"?

Go and buy a makeup "blusher" brush. Use this to get the dust off (they aren't expensive and you can get them in supermarkets here).

Trying to wash the dust off just results in the 'dust' becoming sludge and being harder to get off.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

BTW the "dont use water on them" tip is totally false.
Just becuase they are water based paints does not mean you cant run a slightly damp brush over them
Works a treat.
