So I've bought a box of Plastic Soldier Company Late War German Infantry and assembled them all into almost all the infantry I need for a Grenadierkompanie. They're kinda ugly, but it works for a large infantry army on the cheap.

Unfortunately, they're missing some specific option and support weapons like the HQ panzerschrek team on medium base, and the panzer fausts.

Just wondering what others have purchased to fill in these gaps?

I noticed that Battlefront has a schrek team of 2 miniatures on special order "GSO112 Panzerschreck (late)" and 2 panzerfaust miniatures, "GSO113 Panzerfausts (late)" but I'm looking for other options as well.

I've already got 4 other armies, all BF miniatures, so I don't feel bad about going off manufacturer for this one.

I would just spring for the bases blister, unless you fancy cutting your own (which is a huge PITA) and there is also a Tank Hunter blister, with I think 4 x panzersc\hrek teams? I think this is your best bet.

Should have mentioned I already have all the bases I needed, went third party for bases that had straight vertical sides.

I have to say I prefer PSC Infantry, they are more realisitic and less cartoonesque than BF's. Seems silly IMHO to have Vehicles ultra-realistic and the infantry a kind of comedy oversized balloon parody. I bought some Panzershrecks off ebay (see below, believe they are Forged in Battle but not sure)... They aren't bad, will replace with PSC though.



The Forged in Battle mini's in my opinion are much better quality, Peter pig has some nice concepts but his faces look like pilsbury dough boys that have been punched in the mouth.

Will Townsend told me 8 months back that his Heavy Weapons Infantry Sprue is on the way. Depending on what you get in it It could prove a mega-purchase. I would like to see, Mortars, HMG's and Anti-tank weapon pieces for £15 it would be a very good bargain for those of us who want a decent army without paying £7.50 per model.

I would recommend Peter Pig, they have nice little packs of various different weapons options. I don't think they look quite as bad as Pillsbury Dough Boys who have been punched in the mouth (haha )

I'll probably go with peter pig, if only because I need these on short notice and a local store carries them.

My main fault with PSC is the poses. It's all 1 sprue, but there's way too much of the same poses. Heck, the poses are copied between the Soviet boxes.

But before painting I'm going to try a bit of reposing using a hair dryer to warm up the plastic.

I love the detail, but why everyone has huge maw is beyond me? If PP got someone else to sculpt nice heads on them these models would be the best out there in terms of price, poses and detail. That and the god awful website, Still does a fabulous line in unusual vehicles like British Chieftains!

I actually like Peter Pig's unusual faces, they are at least easy to paint

I still like my Old Glory models.I guess since Commmand decisions was orginally made by a local conpany that went bankrupt.I am kinda a fanboy.They also made Twlight 2000.
