Pictures of my vampire count necromancer.
I really enjoyed painting this model. I set out to experiment how it looks if I combine traditional hard highlights (on the black robes) with airbrushed change in color on the red. Please drop by my M&P blog found on my sig to discuss this specific detail and to leave tips!

Dont forget to leave a comment here also
I really like this one so am extra eager to hear tips and all feedback.

Thanks for the comment 40kFSU, I was hesitant on trying red but I think it worked out well

Very nicely done, MakeH - is he a one-off, or is there an army (or shambling horde) to go with him?

This is, emphatically, why I will continue suggesting nuking Guard and starting over again. It's a legacy army that needs to be rebooted with a new focal point.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

Thanks a lot Dysartes!
I really like VC, it used to be my favorite army but I have a few other big projects going on so cant do an army at the moment. But since I like the new models and they allow me to level my airbrushing on infantry models I decided to dedicate a few weeks on painting vc

I did some banshees and cairn wraiths in addition to this. Additionally, to play around with some new models, I have decided to do 10 Black knights, 10 Hexwraiths and 3 Vargheists during the coming week(s). Most likely they will find themselves on ebay at some point, but you never know. I really like this Necromancer for example
