I mean it would probably be fun to play but you won't be able to win a capture and control mission and will struggle with size ground

Put the tacs in rhinos, give them ML/LC and pg's, swap the assault squad with 5 assault TH/SS terminators, and swap your heavies for 3 auto/las preds.

Drop the techmarine for a third dread.

'Tis a pretty fun but naive list.

Tactical marines need some transportation. I would suggest rhinos work well with the vindis. Then you should think about what weapons you give the squads. Combimelta, melta, ML is good for rhinos.
Then at this points cost you only need 2 squads which frees up points for cooler things.

Assault marines really are not great. Their Raison d'etre is cc which they are not very good at.

You can do weird things to make techmarines to make them worthwhile but he isn't adding much.

Your shooty dreads would be better as dual autocannons, or least having one dread set up like that.

Well, the main reason I like the list is 3 S10 AP2 5" radius shots each turn. The only issue I have with dropping a tactical squad is that's even less doodz. I could definitely drop the Assault Marines, which frees up some points for the Rhinos and some other stuff...hmm...How about this?

HQ- Captain
Troops- Tactical Squad w/Multi-melta, Meltagun
Troops- Tactical Squad w/ML, Meltagun
Troops- Tactical Squad w/ML, Meltagun

Dedicated Transports- 3 Rhinos

Elites- Dreadnought w/Dual Autocannons
Elites- Dreadnought w/TL Lascannon & ML
Elites- Dreadnought w/Heavy Flamer, TL Lascannon, TL Autocannon

Heavy Support- Vindicator
Heavy Support- Vindicator
Heavy Support- Vindicator

That's three dreads with some seriously firepower, three Vindicators to crushilate things, and three sets of doodz with some decent weaponry to do stuff. Or should I drop the third dread on that list in favor of another tactical squad? Also, are the weapons for the tactical squads good enough? Or should I mix that up as well?

Ok youve gone from a silly list into what I feel is an awesome list.

Save a few points on your dreads and give combimeltas to your tactical squads. They are worth the points! They make sure something dies.
Maybe keep one with flamer to kill infantry?

Librarian would be better than a plain captain who isn't doing army list sort of things[bikes or command squads]. I am trying to think how having one model will work.
I guess combat squad a ML at the back and then run the HQ in the half empty rhino.

Is your captain just a plain old captain?
If so for his points a libby always works well for me?

From what I've found while playing with captains are that they are there to open up the bike route or give you a lowish point CC command squad and that's pretty much it.

I love dula auto cannon dreads - but with the TL Las/ ML Dreads I prefer Typhoon Land Speeders - A complete pain in the but for all opponents, and cheaper points wise.

Also Land speeder storms combined with outflank make for a bunched up army after you use them to get the jump on any lonesome units a few times. This bunched up formation = heaven for vindicators everywhere.

Only reason I have a plain captain is because he came in the Assault on Black Reach box, and I'm having a hell of a time painting him for a tournament. I like the Typhoon Land Speeder idea. I often make the mistake of overlooking lesser armored but faster units...I tend to be more a brute force and ignorance type of guy...maybe Orks will be what I build next. I just have a hard time giving up TL Las/ML Dreads. Good mix of AT and Anti-infantry, IMO. Still tweaking. Trying to get a few more ideas. My shop's running a sale next month and I want to get some units that I'll be able to run with for a while.

Since the captain can't join the tactical squad's because of rhino transport capacity, his use has gone down alot

Make sure the vindicators have extra armor. Personally, if you really really love vindicators make a templar list as you can pretty much have everything except the rifleman dread, and you can give the vindicators PotMS

So, bought two new Dreadnoughts at my Hobby Shop...wanted to outfit them with Dual TL Autocannons, and they didn't come with any. Where do I get TL Autocannons for them?

Thanks. Still don't see why GW didn't just have TL autos come with the Dreads.

I would suggest dropping the third dread and taking a couple of fast attack choices. For the same price(or really close) you could take two land speeders with MM and Heavy flamers.

Couple of things, and just my 2 cents here. Transports are kinda a must. I would drop the assault marines for other fast attack options. With new stuff coming out assault marines need a major overhaul. They really can't hold there own in assault vs many units. So you have to be very picky what you assault, which is bs considering their name has assault in it. Attack bikes are best in my opinion, though pricey models.
