Im looking at a pair of pegasus wings and im wondering how to paint them. i cant do my normal thing for painting white feathered wings so im at an empass.
Im thinking a space wolves grey wash with a white drybrush.

maybe a black wash then white?
How I do it for my Blood Angels: Astronomicon grey basecoat, then a Badab black wash and finally a skull white drybrush over the top. It looks fine and the Astronomicon grey gives the white a clean feel...

I tend to go from astro grey to skull white in thin layers via a dry brush
I would avoid using black as a wash as it tends to stay grey even after layers of white. for what your doing I'd go with a very thin wash of red or blue depending on what colour scheme your going with
