Outstanding work. Very realistic. How did you manage to flick the blood on so subtly?

Though for my tastes maybe a bit too subtle on the axe.

I wanna know how you flicked it on so well!

Very nice, the paintjob is very clean with a good colour scheme.
Personally I dislike the pose of that axe, but is only my personal preference.

It really is good, no doubt about it, but I myself always have preferred constructive criticism over pure praise so here goes.
I think he would look better if you made his face pop more, this may certainly be a result of the lighting but I feel that his face gets lost so that the only place the eye is drawn to is the axe, which upsets the balance in the mini. More colour saturation and more light/ dark contrast in the face with lighter eyes would tie the whole thing together a bit better.

You really dont have to take my ramblings into consideration (and I may be dead wrong, pictures do not show reality very well...)
And it is still a great piece of ork you have there, and I'd be honored to have that blood be the blood of my Grey Knights. Keep it up

@Zilegil and JonnoM:

thanks for the comments!
For the blood I thinned down some red gore and dipped my old toothbrush into it. Then (you wouldnt have guessed ) i frew back the hairs with my thumb and let go. Toothbrushes are great for that! You just shouldnt overdo it.....

@Dabedman

thank you very much for the comment!
I always try to improve, so im very happy about constructive criticism!
I actually did try to let the face stand out though, by highlightning it with brighter color that the rest of the skin. Sadly, that got lost in the photo, so i will propably take some more.....

I was a bit worried about the thread title but I was pleasantly surprised. Nice paint job and in no way does it look like a male member that came into contact witha cheesegrater!

amazing!

How many Space Marines does it take to screw in a lightbulb.

6, 1 techpriest and 5 tacticals that stand around trying to pose like badasses.

An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "Me thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.
