So i am packing all my models into a bag. and i realised with all my models(i mean ALL) in my cases. I looked around and found 2. on shoulder bag and one back pack.
Know when i put them on i look like a real dork. i have 2 bags that are stuffed to the brim and a back pack stuffed so full that it looks like im smuggling books.
So. where do you look like a dork while gaming?

Dropping a tin full of dice, that exploded everywhere, half way up the pedestrian heavy walkway on my way to a local GW.
I would have left them there but they were custom made ones that cost me a decent amount. Had to walk around the walkway picking them all up which was prob the most dorky moment of my gaming life.
Finding a Zoat at my local church fete raffle and then freaking out and offering huge amounts of money for it
It was worth it though

I put Duct Tape over the "Army Transport" part of my bags. My roommates used to joke that I was smuggling wild animals to and from the lab I worked in.
That being said when I brought my case the only choice were the GW ones so I currently just have one of their small ones. Need to get around to getting a better one.

I don't look like a dork when transporting gaming stuff.
I look like a backpacker.
I don't carry a miniatures case in plain sight (My battlehive looks like a CD case though - the Metallica and Iron Maiden stickers help with that illusion).
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
I transport my miniatures in a massive Sterilite footlocker. I only take it out of my car when moving it between car and home or car and FLGS. The only time I've discussed gaming with a non-gamer lately was when I was at the UPS store shipping some stuff out to trade. I went on and on to the guy behind the counter about what I was trading away and what I was getting back and why I was making the trade, and he was obviously completely befuddled as to what the hell I was talking about, but I didn't worry about what he thought. Did I look like a dork? Maybe but I totally don't let it bother me.
I don't look like a dork so much as an outright prick.
Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

"You need not fear us, unless you are a dark heart, a vile one who preys on the innocent; I promise, you can’t hide forever in the empty darkness, for we will hunt you down like the animals you are, and pull you into the very bowels of hell." Iron - Within Temptation
Well, I dress in black or grey pinstriped shirts, boots and long, leather, lapeled jackets.
I don't look like a dork I look like a git.

What is that anyway. Might make a good portfolio.
Is it something from MtG?

My army lives in a tackle box and my 40k suplements (dice measuring tape BRB codexes and templates) live in my laptop bag (the laptop included, thats where the points lists live)
I'm both orderly and rational. I value control, information, and order. I love structure and hierarchy, and will actively use whatever power or knowledge I have to maintain it. At best, I am lawful and insightful; at worst, I am bureaucratic and tyrannical.

I do not know about the Dork part. But alot of people get out of our way and look kinda scared.I guess i would to if a bunch of ex-Militery guys show up wearing parts of their old uniforms and carrying gun cases.Passed by me..Also can not forget the Black shirts.
