I'm having a big fluff game with my brother soon and i'd like my list to be fun but still good. We get quite compitive and insult each others armies and i'd like to be right when I say the counts will crush the ratmen

Two things I spot directly: Master Strike isn't very good, you only have 1/6 to get it to work, assuming you hit. His red fury and high power will deal with those monsters better.
Also, you have exceeded the 25% limit on Lords.

Right heres the edited version, getting rid of master strike makes sense and i was aiming for the ghoul king to be a monster hunter. so cornerfag what do you think of the rest of the list

Seems very solid. As you probably know, the Ghoul King on Gheist is slightly vulnerable to cannons...
The only thing I'm reacting on is, how is your deployment plan?
Varghulf and unmounted Gheist take one flank each, I assume... But where does your Lord go? Middle ground?
And what irks me the most is that your Necromancers are unprotected. If you place them with the Ghouls (which is the only current choice), they are going to get into CC as they're standing in the first rank, probably getting killed.
And if you don't place them with the ghouls, they are going to get shot at and easily killed.
I would suggest a bunker, be it skeleton, ghoul or zombie bunker.
Personally I would vote for a Zombie bunker because Ghouls would be too expensive and skeletons kind of break the theme (plus the Zombie-unit will grow everytime a Necromancer casts IoN, which means that if it is unengaged, it might turn into something dangerous, and if your opponent shoot at it he'll most likely be able to stop it from growing, but not killing it).

That sounds great! You seem to have everything covered.
The Crypt Horrors can be put wherever needed.
Also, I'd say 20 Zombies are sufficient. Since they can be increased beyond starting size naturally, one casting of IoN would grant you 8 - 9 zombies on an average.

Haha, on that I have absolutely no idea. I alway overlook the competetive scene of Warhammer.
From what I see though, every unit choice seem like a strong one, and your manouverability with Gheists, the Gulf and the other Gheists are sure to reign supreme.

im doing a strigoi themed list so this post was very helpfull thanks, but from what i can say about a wight army, i did a drakenhoff wight army last ed...if you want skellies id stick with tomb kings mate

I hope so, i tend to find with my lists (as i stick to a strong theme) that im usually low on a certain aspect of the army style, but as long as you play effectivly your usually not too disadvantaged...however i wouldnt expect it to be trolling everone...

I would combine the horrors since 6 are killable while 12 are not. Then smack them in the centre of your line.

I was kinder thinking of this myself but wasn't too sure. so i'll try it out and see how it goes
