I just bought the Apocalypse Imperial Armour book and have really enjoyed the cool things in it for Nurgle.
That being said, what are some of the books Forgeworld has released that have some of the coolest rules for? Which Book is your favourite and why?

I liked IA4, The Anphelion Project.
Basically it was about Nids and thats why I liked it. Whilst I felt the narrative was somewhat short and needed more suspense built into it, it was in effect like Aliens but in a 40k setting.
Cant really go wrong with that.
It also introduced rules for the Nid superheavies.
Some cool artwork too.

While Taros and Aphelion were very well done, Vraks brought the series on a better, higher, deeper level. Havent read Babad and the last Vraks yet though.

Imperial Armour 8, obviously.
If you'd put anymore orkyness in that book, it would cry out "Waaagh!" before attacking you with a choppa.
Pictures, story, rules, all beyond awesome for orks.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

Got to go with Yak9UT's choice in the Vraks campaign, they just get better and better. Also enjoying the latest release (IA11) too. EDIT - Spelling and grammer.

Forge World really hit their stride with the Siege of Vraks, and haven't looked back. Everything they have published since has been top-notch - including Tamurkhan - and vastly superior to the rather pedestrian stuff the GW studio has been producing in the last few years. Were I obliged to pick a favourite, however, it would have to be the two Badab War books - that's how Space Marines ought to be written.

Same here. I have the first two Imperial Armour Apocalypse books as well and really like them. Looking to pick up Imperial Armour Apocalypse II soon. I've read the Vraks books, but don't own them myself yet. They are definitely on my list of things to buy...

IA3 is my favourite for the time being.
What I do like is the politics and bureaucracy they show in the Imperium which aren't really emphasised in the codices (except perhaps the guard codex )

Another one for IA4. I have a general bias towards Tyranids, but even ignoring that I loved the way it was the 40K version of Aliens and gave us a good look at the evolutionary cycle of the Tyranids (how they can go from nothing to Bio-Titans in a very short space of time). It ha a fun story and lots of new Tyranid beasties, so a win all round in my book.

It is just nice every now and then to have a war without them.
