So yeah, it's decently fluffy, not very optimized or competitive, I just kinda want an excuse to pour guardsmen at an opponent and share laughter when earthshaker cannons scatter onto my squads. Idea is my CCS sits back in cover with the HWS and just spits out mortar fire, I wrap my PCS' with the larger blobs while the smaller ones sit behind and either counter-charge assaulting units or break off to flank and whatnot. This is written for objective games so that the single IS can sit back and camp my home objective, in KP missions I'd run both platoons with a 3X Blob and a 2X blob. Basilisks and Hydras sit back, and the Deathstrike is mostly for fun and comedic effect when it goes off.

Again, mind you, this is no tourney list, so I'd prefer to not get ripped apart, but criticisms and tactical advice are welcome.

I am not really seeing the point in some units. Many have pretty poor or useless updates (i.e CCS and PCS) and others just don't do nothing at all (Infantry Squads). You can still do a very good foot list with additional wargear, just lose that crappy Deathstrike and you can afford things

The CCS is a stationary cover-unit for sitting back with the Mortar HWS, and the PCS has the melta-bombs so that it can sit behind the larger IS', and charge any vehicles and assault them to death.

Looks like a fun list. I would add Chenkov(sp)? with some send in the next wave conscripts. Best way to make sure you get some back splatter from errant pie

Mortars are pretty rubbish, autocannon or lascannon would be better on CCS. PCS won't get to melta bomb anything when on foot, not hard to kill five Guardsmen.
