After nagging my dad for hours on end, I finally have an airbrush!

It's by a company called Expo (Can't remember the model in question) and it even came with a compressor.

Both it and the compressor have been very good so far, although I haven't used it much yet. I have been working on my game boards with them, and it's worked really well. It also uses less paint than I thought it would.

So, overall, a very happy nerd!

Does anyone have any advice on how to get the most out of it?

Just keep using it.

Experimentation is the key to airbrushing I have found. First there is getting the mix right, the messing about with changing the pressure, and that befor eyou even get on to effects and techniques.

Theres much to learn ( I have had one tfor about 2 years now and feel I knwo naff all!) andyou can watch all the videos you can but its really about just using it.

Thank you. I have no idea how to change the pressure, how does one do that?

When they're finished (and I can borrow dad's camera phone) I'll try and upload some pictures of the boards.

Often the water separator has an added screw (or whatnot) to change the pressure level also. Although, not all compressors have the function, it might just have a fixed output pressure.

Yes, that could be the case. Hmm.
