Those decals are crap, and way to small for 40k. They work ok for trains, but frustrating for gamers.

Or as mentioned above, there's the tried and true plasticard and hole punch or 1mm micro-beads

Micromark also do O scale stuff, which is ideal for 40k.

I've used normal pins as rivets before, the bog standard ones, not the ones with the large spherical heads. Dirt cheap.
