I've heard tell that there will be reprints of A&A Europe and Pacifc 1940 sometime this year and that these new editions will have some new things in addition to updated rules.
Has anyone else heard about this? Any word on a release date? More detail on what will be new?
At $90+ MSRP, with AAE1940 starting at $250 on amazon, these are not games that I would care to buy twice.

But seriosuly, really hope its true. A&A is easily one of my fav boardgames of all time.
Are they only redoing Europe and Pacific, no redo of the overall World map?

Not heard anything, but would be interested in a re-release as both are games I have considered in the past, and this year I could actually get one.

They already re-did the World Map with optional new rules. The current A&A 1942 is what you're looking for.

1940 with the updated rules is such a fantastic game. In my opinion, it's easily the best version of A&A, including the World at War versions.
