Hello. I'm new to this whole thing. There's not a single person around here that shares my interests so I wanted to find a site to share ideas and pictures of work I've done. I don't play at all, I just paint. I hope that doesn't single me out. I hope I can figure this out soon.

Thanks for the tips. To answer the question about tank experience, yes, I spent about 4 years as a Marine Corps tank crewman. I'm getting some pictures together now to post this weekend sometime. Can't wait to get my first feedback from that.

I enjoy the modelling and painting part of the hobby more so than the painting. You are not alone with that.
As for finding other people; there are resources available here that will most definitely find someone to talk to in the meatspace realm.

Many of us paint or modify without playing. I agree with others that a gallery is a great place to start.
Information about being a tank crew man could be very helpfull to those making or painting accurate tank crews!
