I gotta go Warhound. I love the way they look, how they're used tactically, the mindset of their crews (as seen in Titanicus and Mechanicum)... And Forgeworld's chaos warhound model looks BEYOND epic!

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.
'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.' |

Warlord. They are the most common type of Titan, and for a very good reason; the firepower of a Warlord Titan is beyond belief. Warhounds? Ha. Your Warhounds will be shattered by Quake Cannon shells and Plasma Annihilator blasts before they ever come into range of their own guns.
Now, if xenos titans were allowed, I'd have to go with a Mega-Slasher Gargant. Tough enough to close the distance, and armed with not only a battery of massive gunz to pulverize whatever it's aimed at but a mega-choppa to rip through any panzy or 'oomie Titans that let it get close.

Lexicanum: Collegia Titanica wrote:The Military Orders
The Orders or Legions of the Divisio Militaris (or more simply the Military Orders) are the main military forces of the Collegia, and each, as self-sufficient units, includes its own ground combat troops and support staff in addition to its Titans.
Each Legion is based on its own Forge World - most Forge Worlds having one (or in some cases several) Titan Legions.
Legion detachments are stationed throughout the galaxy, guarding vulnerable locations across the Imperium. Many Legions are stationed near the Eye of Terror, ready to combat their Chaotic counterparts.
Legion strength is typically around 50 operational engines.1 Battle losses can take centuries to replace, as the construction of a new Titan is a long and laborious process. The Warlord is the most commonly found class while the Imperator is by far the most formidable but an increasingly rare sight on battlefields. Though there have been rumours of a stronger class that existed during the Great Crusade (possibly the Apocalypse class).

Warhound, based on the models. I prefer the look to the Reaver and anything larger is almost always horribly oversimplified, due to the sheer amount of effort it would take to give that much surface area the same level of attention. I recall one or two exceptions, of course, that were all sorts of badass, but by and large Warhounds are the sexiest.

For me - the Reaver. I never liked the Warlord (something about always loosing mine in Epic due to the overly weak target location for the plasma reactor!) Other Titans definitely worth considering:
- Warmonger Emperor Titan a fire support Titan armed with a Devastator Cannon and Doomstrike Battery
Also, of interest, some rumours I have collected around Codex Titanicus 2 (information was prised out by various people from GW staffers, online forums and cryptic design notes) have revealed the following Titan classes that were planned but never launched:
- Cathedral-Emperor class Titan used by the Missionaria Galaxia to help convert the heathen
- Atlas Class Warlord Titan - a testbed Titan used by the Diviso Investigatus for testing new technologies
- Legatus Class Warlord Command Titan
- Vulcan Class Labour Titan
- Nemesis Class Psi-Titan (There was a model for this released)

It's the Warmonger pattern Emperor Titan for me. They are the versions with outright firepower. Vengeance Cannon, Hellstorm Cannon, 4 Volcano cannons and 2 Vortex Missiles.
BTW the Chaos Warhound can be called a Feral Titan.

Warhound, but mainly because of a cool little story in one of the old Epic books (back when it was Adepticus Titanicus/Space Marine) about a Warhound Priceps trying to get his battle damaged Warhound back and running so he could re-enter the fight. Of course if we could have picked Xenos ones, It would have been a Great Gargant.
