everyone know that GW doesn't have Thunderwolves any more exept the wolf of Canis Wolfborn.

but i want to make a cavalry and i don't want to buy 5 or 10 Canis wolfborn's..

so does anyone know any good Thunderwolves??

Other than that, I know that there's a heroclix set that costs about 15 bucks that has 3 wolves in it, and they actually work pretty good too.

A friend of mine gt some Ogre Kingdoms Mournfangs, removed the tusks and put space marines on them. It works really well

Couldn't you just use bikers and paint a wolf head on the front or something?

My TWC are extra badass. They don't just ride wolves, they surf them.

I really like the Paulson Games Thunderwolves, I want to get a couple more at some point to run a TWC-themed list. Also, I recently got Canis and Fangrir is huge! Then again, it makes sense that he be bigger than my other TWC since he's supposed to be extra-large...

There's no 'any more' about it. Canis is the only Thunderwolf model that GW have released so far.

Before paulson stopped making the saddles... Keep an eye out for him though, he's redesigning them and should be releasing them not too long from now. I was lucky enough to get my second batch of 3 wolves before he discontinued them.

Offtopic: Diggin' the paint job on your wolves dude. I gotta repaint mine, they didn't really turn out that great...

Good to hear, the saddles were the only part of the model I didn't particularly like.

hello guys thank you for all your reactions, i have another question.

by the Thunderwolves from mythicast there are space wolf legs specially made to ride on a Thunderwolf, are there also those legs but than for Space Wolf Terminators?

i hope there are because then i can make a Wolf Lord with Terminator Armour, Thunderwolf and 2 Fenrisian wolves.

i hope you have some ideas or that you know something like that.

Do you mean runic armor? you can't wear TDA and ride a Fenrisian Wolf, if I remember correctly.

The great thing about Runic Armor is you can use normal legs and just bling them up. So you're cool as long as they have power armor legs.

Sorry, I should avoid the idioms. There are no specific runic armor bits that I am aware of unless you buy a special character model like Njal and chop him up. Paint runes on them is fine. I just paint my characters in more detail, so the fact that their armor looks more awesome explains the runic armor.

oke thanks, but njall has a bigger armour, it looks like it is a Wolfguard Terminator armour, and the legs of terminator armour are bigger so.....

As far as I know, he is the only model that has actual Runic Armor as described in the book.

Terminator Armor legs are in the Space Wolf Terminator box. No runic armor legs though.

i mean for on a Thunderwolf, there are no Runic armour legs or Terminator legs, or whatever they are called, no legs with more armour than a normal space wolf leg for on a thunderwolf..

Yep. There are none that I'm aware of. Just paint runes on your power armor legs.

Just wanted to mention that official models are released in only a few months.

Haven't seen this one listed on here yet. Another company that makes a suitable Thunderwolf option is Hitech:

It appears to be a bit larger than some of the other options, so maybe for your leader or squad captain. I plan to order from them, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
