Could I use them as Imperial Guardsmen? Because I actually hate to say this but. I HATE CADIANS! They are everywhere! I mean they look cool. But. Why? Why can't I find more than just them? instead of having to deal with Finecast. I love the Vahallans. (Helk I have a painted squad of them.) But they are too expensive. I am starting an Imperial Guard force of the Dracornian Army. Who are fighting against the horrors of the Ghoul Stars. They possess a little bit more upgraded stuff but they are still the same. Just have shiner stuff. Needless to say I will only have 100 of them ever. I already have a leman russ and a chimera. And I like foot sloggers. This is not for competitive play. This is for my Gaming Group that has games in my basement. So yes no? Also a little look at what they are... http://www.manticgames.com/Shop-Home/Advance-Orders/Advance-Order-Corporation/Product/Corporation-Captains-Deal-67-Figures.html I could buy from GW but I haven't bought from them in a year. Any suggestions if you guys disagree with using the Corporation guys? I could go cadians even if i do hate them (Mostly because their mouths are exposed)

They may be cheaper but you have to buy sets at £75...ouch.
By the looks of it you'd get 4 infantry squads, 1 commander, 3*lascannon/autocannon, a "veteran" squad with a heavy weapon, and some "rangers"(no idea what they could be).
So yeah probably a good offer but only if you've got the money.
Looks wise they are fine.

Don't feel bad. Most people hate Cadians. Even some people who play Cadians hate the plastics. The 2nd ed metals were more awesome.
Though, 40k players are new to the mantic offerings. Fantasy players have been using them in place of GW armies for ages now.

So they are a good deal compared to gw's prices?
Because I can buy a bigger set of them. And I plan on adding vechiles from different ranges.

I like them. Might even buy a set to use as ig. Make them my more elite mech army and keep my cadians (which i like, theyre a generic sci fi soldier.) as the the footsloggers.

As long as you're not planning on playing at GW stores, where IIRC, each model must be at least 75% GW, you'll be fine. I'm planning on making an Elysian Drop Troops army from Defiance Games' USMC Infantry.

Don't make a blanket statement like that. Most people like Cadians alright.
Mantic is a company that specifically makes "not 40k" figures. Using them is their purpose.

If you dislike the Cadian models and want regular foot soldiers for cheap, why not check out the Warzone Bag of 80 models? 40 Imperials and 40 Bauhaus. With a nice paint job they can easy appear to be the same force.

Keep in mind that, just like the Mantic Corp. models, without extra converting they can only be used for private or friendly games. You could probably buy bulk Lasguns to place in their hands, or just convince your friends that they use Autoguns instead. Unfortunately the main weapon for one faction looks more like a Shotgun than an Autogun, but for the price they are awesome!

If you are lucky enough to be playing in a none GW store, by all means DO IT.
they look so much better than Space Ball giant head helmet Cadians.
If you are playing in GW, then no luck... no matter how beautiful and cheap they are -_-

Yeah ever since my hobby store dislikes the fact that I have a massive force and that I primarily focus on not buying anything from them. I buy from cheap stores. Until recently. I Have yet to buy a single GW model in a year and a half. The last purchase I made was with the horus heresy collected tales and an entire space marine army for 130$ (3000 pts).
My dad though only wants me to buy stuff when i have disposable income. Sadly I have yet to find a job....

If you make an effort to be polite and not mention that you prefer buying elsewhere, they may warm up to you. I know most FLGS get pretty irritated when you make a point to mention all the great deals you're getting everywhere else. You might consider buying your paints from them at the very least so they see you are making an effort to be a welcomed customer. Running a gaming store ain't easy. Since it's not a GW, you shouldn't have any problem with the store telling you what models you can use, though the folks you play games with will be on a case-by-case basis.

Its such a unavoidable dilemma...
We all want cheaper products so we can get more to play with.
Yet without our support, the store we play at cant survive either.
Its like a game ecosystem thingy >.<

Its not a gaming store. I just hold tournaments for my friends. It not just 40k, its also d&d, rpgs, video game, card games, etc. I don't sell stuff.
I don't also tell people where I buy my stuff.

This is why sensible stores carry MTG and sell snacks. It's a small space outlay and brings in regular sales. Snacks provide, well, snacks, which every gamer likes during a game. It means they don't go buy it elsewhere. Even if you don't buy your models there, you provide income by buying a can of soft drink and some food while playing.

Not the local FLGS here, he flat out said that I should get a good start up online lol, admittedly the FLGS is more laid back being that it is open only on the weekends and most money made their is with MTG and Friday night magic
