Hey Dakka. Now, does anyone know any Fantasy movement trays that hold thirty and twenty men?

In the dark recesses of your mind...

You can make your own movement trays easily enough. Here is a link to a movement tray making tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGlZ9lVCz5Q

Hey Ogryn. Now, have you tried using paper or even cardboard from your warhammer boxes? You can cut it to fit 30 and 20 men

GW also sells kits to make trays of whatever size you need.

GW's custom tray set is actually a pretty good deal. It's 2 10x10 trays for 20mm bases and 8x8 for 25mm bases. Just measure, remember to take a bit off for the little extra the borders add, and score-and-snap.

It's actually quite cheap for GW as well.

Whether something is cheap or not can be compared exponentially.

GW's movement tray while low priced compared to the GW product line, is no cheaper than me selling a pebble for $1.

If you are able to find plasticards, you can have all the movement tray you want for half the cost of GW's

Just saying, if the OP wants to take the easy way out DIY solution, their custom tray set is actually really good.

Quick run down of how I made my skaven movement trays which include, 20, 30, 50 blocks.

First time I made them I bought the GW movement trays. For about $15 This gives you those 2 big sheet's of hard plastic. I didn't bother putting the edges on them, because if you are measure from the model not the tray its more fair for movement. I then went to my FLGS, and bought Galeforce 9's magnetized trays. I put the sticky magnet strip on my premeasured base footprint. Unfortunately this involved re-basing some models. However, there are several dakka users who have seen my GT scale skaven. Its very very nice to be able to pick up the entire unit which is magnetized and plop it down for deployment. Units are in Army Transport Foam trays which are the exact height of the unit.

Total cost for tray per unit, about $5 including big plastic, GF9. Entire army of 10 blocks about $50.

Second time I went another way. I went to a local craft store, found similar thinkness plastic card for about $2 a sheet. I placed the unit and traced, then cut it out. I boat huge stacks of business card sized strip magnets. I superglued these down. I used the stock GW bases. I went and bought Earth Magnets, the smallest size from my FLGS for about $20 for 100. I did my entire army, smaller then skaven.

Total cost per unit, probably $2 with stuff left over for another army.

The GF9 version is prettier.
The 2nd version is more economical, same sturtiness, and when your models are on the trays it does not matter.

Gale Force 9 has a line of very good wooden movement trays, in any size you want.

GW, as others have said, have a nice kit that makes a custom tray or two.

At times people on ebay have nice sets of custom trays.

Or make your own. More work, possibly less quality, but obviously cheaper.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

I print mine, stick it to card, cut out and construct.

Using these for my skaven:

Spoiler:

Anyone can feel free to use them - all you need to do is stick the thin strips to the edges of the tray, and there- done.
If people wanted them and asked nicely I might even make whatever size tray template you want (you never know when I might want one that size too )

I keep meaning to buy some sheets of magnetic strip and put the paper on that, and some steel washers on the bases of my models to make magnetic trays.

I prefer Gale Force 9's wooden trays, I just like the look of the extra space around the unit and they look good when you flock em up to match your bases.

http://www.gf9.com/

I also use magnets on the bottoms of all my bases and I glue a piece of sheet metal to the inside of the tray so the models don't move around or fall over. Here's 50 of my goblins in one of their 10x5 trays
