I quick enjoy using IG sentinels(heavy more then scout). But I dont like the models as much. I had the idea of making some "bots" to use for them.. My first thought was to get some crisis suits...but those would look a bit to out of place.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could build some "bots" that look like something the IG would build. big, bulky, square edges. The tau suits are just to fluid for guard. Or if anyone has ran across some other minis that would fit the scale for 40k and look like it belongs with the rest of the army.

I have gone through all I could think of and have yet to have any luck. =(

Try looking at the dust tactics models. All I know that matches off the top of my head.

The Dust: Tactics models still appear to be "walkers" rather than "bots".

Something to consider is that you could attempt to make a Servitor utilizing the Sentinel bottom and legs.

Dust has the right "style" just not the right shape or size.

Robogear has some walkers that might work. Ebay "robogear" and see if you like what you see.
