Anyone order from Zuzzy lately? I ordered a mat about 4 weeks ago and am wondering if others have been getting theirs I'm the quoted 4-5 weeks or if it has been the 8+ weeks that was being reported mid 2011.

Mine arrived 3 or 4 months ago, so not overly recently, but it did take c.8 weeks. Its an excellent product though, and he chucked in a bit of extra mat to make up for the delay.

Thanks for the info, I keep eagerly checking my porch a few times a day even though I doubt it has shipped yet. Which one did you get and do you find that you get many cooked diced and do buildings and other terrain seem to sit well on it?

Zuzzy is ALWAYS slow. Its unforunate. Their mats are supreme and one of favorites, it just sucks........ waiting so long. The only issue sometimes is bouncey.. dice.. since the mat is very rubbery dice sometimes like to roll around town.

... and the smell! Don't forget the rubber smell!
Zuzzy is a small garage company, so you should have some patience with them.

Yeah dice sit well on it - nothing cocks on the mat alone, only if it gets stuck on terrain. Theres a bit of bounce though if you are a particularly angry thrower! Terrain grips really nicely. All up, its comfortably better to roll on than a ROB board. It does smell reasonably strongly of latex still though a few months down the line, but its not really an issue.

I got the ruined city type one. Not sure on the exact name, but it looks sort of gravely with bits of brickwork poking through in places.

Its a very good product. Stores well, and unrolls easily without kinks and curling. Would definitely buy more stuff from him in a heartbeat.

Someone got me the ruined city mat for Xmas (I warned them about the long shipping time), but I think they said it arrived in just a few weeks. *shrug*

Hate to bump this thread from a few weeks back. Anyone receive one recently? I am still waiting on mine with no replies on my emails about when to expect it.

Zuzzy and I had a go around last year.
Here is what I can tell you.
Chill out. The guys does it all by himself and it takes him forever to fill orders. You can expect it to take 8-10 weeks. Obviously he does not advertise this on his site, or no one would order form him. It's incredibly frustrating, I agree, but at this point you can either wait, or ask for a refund. I suggest you wait because his mats are awesome once you get them. Some people complain about the latex smell, but I just tossed mine in the bath, scrubbed it with a mild detergent, let it sit out in the sun for a day and night, and all was good. No smell.
Lastly, dice roll just fine on the cobble stone mat. Unless you are a dice THROWER, and then yes, they bounce all over the place. However, I think that's a good training ground for dice throwers to CHILL THE HELL OUT.

I ordered two mats in December. Still waiting for them to arrive. Everyone told me that it takes a while and I've been busy with other things so I haven't really thought about them until I read your post.

The thing I am most concerned about is someone swiping it off my porch. At least when i know that it may come at any point ion a given week I can make sure someone is home, but I can't ask my wife to be home for a month cause who knows when it might come.

Doesn't he post it with tracking numbers? Seems a given nowadays.

Nope but it did come, when I was out of town, luckily a family member grabbed it. It's awesome, well worth the wait but stinky, any tips on how to get rid of the smell? Dice bounce more noticeably then on the Citadel Game Tables and the old green mat but it is way better then the green mat. Already considering ordering a 2nd smaller one, 4x4.

My two 4x4 Broken Blacktop mats arrived today (24 February).

When he shipped it on 23 January, he sent a shipping notification email from Paypal with the UPS tracking number.

The boxes are large and he ships via Parcel Post which means a slow trip.

I'm not unpacking them yet. I should get to it this weekend when I have time to wash the mats in soap and water.
