I've been looking for a good container to put all my paints and paint supplies in. Anyone have any suggestions?

I use a drawer from a Sterilite plastic dresser thing from Wal Mart. I have a separate drawer for tools and one for paint. My collection is getting to the point where I'll need a new solution soon. Here's a pic.

And the "dresser" it goes in, though I just leave the paint drawer on the desk these days.

I made one, out of cardboard, but its not quite big enough any more.

Still, it does the job of keeping some things out of the way.

I use one of the clear "tubs" you can get at stores like Walmart. They come in various sizes so I have one large one for my modeling supplies in general and in it I store several smaller one that hold my paint.

I have too much paint for the first two. I intend to buy the third.

Yep yep. I like the 3rd as well (I've got a Plano box right now), but I'm not dropping $100 for it when I'm as handy as I am.

I see a trip to the hardware store in the near future.
Plexiglass...sawz-all...clear rubber cement...ruler... yep, I'm game.

I like the carrousel and the custom rack. I tried a tackle box ages ago and it worked well for a time, but my modeling equipment outgrew it.

Simple solution for all of you. Buy a wooden plank, use a drill and drill the appropriate sized hole for your paint:

I use one of these .

Looks classier, is portable and keeps everything where I need it. This plus a paint carousel for my Vallejos bottles and I am set.
