Trade name is Kneadtight, you should be able to find it in a well stocked hardware store or one of the warehouse stores like Home Depot. You'll get more or at least pay less than what a hobby shop or gaming company charges. The only epoxy putty i buy from a hobby shop is Miliput because hardware stores don't stock it here.

If you can't buy it online, check out hobby stores in your area. There are some that focus on Model Trains or RC Cars that may have it.

Usually goes by "Milliput".

Gale Force 9 also makes it.

The US chain Hobbytown USA carries it.

For the record, Keadatite (green stuff) and Milliput are different types of appoxies. Milliput is hard and rigid, holds better edges, can be sanded, etc. Greenstuff if more flexable, better used for clothings, folds, banners, etc. I found this deal for kneadatite, i've never used this supplier, so as always due diligence is advised.

$13 for 36 inches seems pretty incredible to me.

Amen to that. My jaw just dropped.
Also milliput isnt that great for finer deatil scuplting as i have figured out. The smaller it gets the less holding power it has.

So Newb Question time:

What's the difference between Green Stuff (Keadatite_ and the Scuplting clay I find in craft store? Do results vary greatly among air drying clays? And how do you keep 36 inches of green stuff from drying out before you use it?

Sculpting clay isn't made for minis. It won't stick and won't hold detail. Gs don't harden before it's mixed. After a long period of time it might be a bit stiff but that nothing a yoga won't fix

The problem with gs strips is that it is already touching each other which will cause the center to harden. That's why I like using gs that is sold separately like galeforce 9 gs.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

oh, it's a binary compound. That makes a lot of sense than what I was invisioning (one brick of green clay) I always thought those GW packs were blue tac and GS combined.

So does this mean you can get slightly different results in the qualities of your GS by not mixing 1:1 on blue yellow?

Yes.

Different mixes give you a different hardness/flexibility (but the softer and more flexible, the less hard it will be and it may never cure properly.).
