Now i am pretty sure this has come up but i cant find it in the search or the rule book so if someone could point me to a page number i would be very thankful.

Can mutiple ICs join to make a single unit? Example- Necron overlord, Nercon lord, Stormlord all in one unit.

Just keep in mind that necron lords aren't IC's in the new codex, though you could take a 1 man royal court.

In your example, you would have a Royal Court unit (the Necron Lord, who is not an IC), joined by a Necron Overlord (who is an IC) and Imotekh (who is a Special Character that is an IC).

So, it wouldn't be a unit of IC's, it would be a Royal Court unit joined by ICs.

You can't join units that can only ever be one model. But if that unit just happens to only have one model (losses, minimum unit size is 1) you're good to go.

I'm not sure what your asking here. The Necron Lord is bought as a member of the Royal Court. He can stay in that unit or be assigned to a different one. In my example, I stated he was a member of the Royal Court.

An Independent Character cannot join units that always consist of one model. Like the C'tan Shard.
A unit that only has one model in it, as long as it can consist of more models, has no restriction. See BRB, page 48.

I'm not all that familiar with Blood Angels, but if a Sanguinary Priest is an IC, like the Chaplain and Captain, then yes, you can.

I once had a go at this. Apoc game a year ago. Just so happened that every special marine character in the game was on my side. So we stuck em all in a single big unit, joined to a 10 man Termy Wolf Guard Squad with Arjac. 10ft of death. Noone dared come close. The wound shenanigans were terrible, and the unit ate every weapon they had.


Eventually, it ended up with none other than Chaplain Cassius at the end, ready to face down a trio of Carnifexes backed up by a Heirophant and Harridan.
