There are a truly awe-inspiring number of things living in rainforests and oceans that can both fit in the palm of our hand and also kill or maim us.

Damn! I never thought that snails could be that scary! That is one of the reasons i am scared of the ocean.

Awwwww, I love Snails.
He'd make a great friend.
Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

The reason Britain used Austrailia as a prison is because they dont need wardens. The Wildlife does it for em.

I've heard stories of tourist picking these up, not knowing the danger, or that the animal was alive in the shell. They held it to they're ear (presumably to listen for the "ocean"). The snail believed it was being threatened so it punctured the person's eardrum while injecting it's venom. Double whammy, you're poisoned, incurably, and you're deaf in one ear!

So there's hope for the airborne snail regiment. Also just noticed I actually have a shell from one of those snails. Well sort of it has a different pattern kind of like a leopard a little.
