I dont think the game going on another turn would have allowed me enough time to get the objective.....I would have maybe charged a razorback, or a unit of grey hunters and consolidated near his objective, but I doubt I would have gotten there. I needed the lone T wolf to die the turn I fought it instead of him making all his invul. saves. Also, the lone Sarge with the P. fist holding up my wraiths for an entire melee phase was just enough of a delay so my wraiths couldnt get into him.

That's just how it goes a lot of times in C&C missions, especially when both generals are skilled.

BTW, technicaly, you don't get your RP from Jaws of the World Wolf, as it doesn't remove the model as a casualty.

Gloom Prisms would have been better upgrades for those spyders than Fabricator Claw Arrays, as you didn't have any vehicles for them to repair. You'd still get the benefit of wound allocation as well as the chance to nullify things like Jaws on a 4+ as long as the spyders were the target, or within 3" of the target.

Yeah I would love the prisms....its just finding the 10 points to upgrade both of the fabricator claws. The only option I can see is cutting a scarab base.

Necrons need to think about adding some way to get across the board. Either a way to teleport across or some fast skimmers like command barges.

This game would have played out statistically a tie or a wolf win most of the time. All depends if the wolf player can contest with his scouts. Better use of the wraths to contest his objective would change that.

I actually expected the wolves to fair a bit better, esp in cc except for with the Ctan and Wraiths. Nightfighting is a big plus for the short ranged Crons. Cool report. Cheers.
