I'd add a liquifier, something he can easily use from the boat, if something got close.

Thoughts?
Too much? No, the point of
MSU is too many targets for the enemy to fire upon. This ought to do really well.

You've got 'too' and 'to' backwards, one being the preposition and the other being the adverb. And the whole purpose of
MSU is the opposite of putting all the eggs into one basket.

I missed it if you were being sarcastic.

Oh right... Pick up your models and go home I guess..
At 1k, two Drop Pods arrive on Turn 1, each crew breaking into combat squads, and assuming good luck, four of the
DE vehicles get killed:
1. We'll assume the venoms, because you only have four sources of fire.
Next Turn, 3 Ravs, 2 raiders, and a 5th venom then get a bit of distance and can at leisure, start turning power armor into grease, because, if you're a smart
DE player, those Drop Pods will have had to land in open terrain, and the marines won't have D-terrain to hide in for Cover Saves.
2. Assume that the ravs and one raider get clobbered instead. That leaves 60 poison shots next turn. 40 will hit, 20 will wound. ~6+ dead marines, and the other 14 have a long slug to now catch 6 skimmers. Turn 2, Next
DP, two more combat squads, leaving two
DE skimmers.
In both cases, there are 4 sets of Wracks within assault distance, not a lot of wracks, but enough to paste a combat squad.
I don't see it as quite the Rock/Paper situation as you've stated, "
