Hi all,

I got a land speeder that I want to add a HF to. What are my options to get these?

1- Do I get them from the Landspeeder box?
2- Is there another bit that would work as well (either from GW or from another vendor)?

This box set contains one multi-part plastic Space Marine Land Speeder. This 60-piece kit allows you to assemble any of the three Land Speeder variants, including the Tornado and Typhoon pattern Land Speeders. This set contains all of the weapon options allowed by Codex: Space Marines including: an assault cannon, a heavy flamer , a Typhoon missile launcher, a multi-melta and a heavy bolter. Also included are Chapter symbols for the Blood Angels, the Dark Angels, the Ultramarines and the Space Wolves.

So the answer is yes. Dunno where blood lance got his.

The earlier incarnation of the plastic land speeder just came with the heavy bolter I think, so it might be an older kit.

You can easily pick up a new land speeder heavy flamer from one of the numerous bits stores on e-bay and the web in general. Alternatively Sentinels and even Terminators come with a heavy flamer that you could probably use easily enough.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

The early version of the kit contained a plastic heavy bolter and multimelta. The assault cannon and heavy flamer were metal bits you could tack on. I have a load of the bits but I never bought them new so I'm only guessing that there must have been a Tornado variant kit including them.
They are not my favorite looking flamers anyway, a little dated before the flamers got all redesigned. I would use a Baal sponson gun, or a Redeemer flamestorm cannon if you can't track them down

EDIT here you go.. a little spendy
http://www.thewarstore.com/product45354.html

and that is a newer style flamer than the metal ones were.

:( $10 for each. Some scuplting company should totally create these since heavy flamers are quite useful even for Sternguards. :(

I used Baneblade sponson flamers. They are cheap as chips from bitz sites and have nice mounting points.

Russ KIts have some as well, as I recall. Possibilities are endless.
