Hey Dakkaites, I could use your help. A friend of mine got a load of secondhand nids the other day, and in the bottom of the box were a few things we can't identify. After a bit of searching I found out they were made by Marauder Miniatures, a quasi-offshoot of GW in the late80s/early90s (the specific models are from 95), but I still can't identify exactly what they were. They look like spiky worms, I could see them fitting into either tyranids or nurgle. (Kinda crappy) pictures are below - I really appreciate it if anyone knows what these are.

Didn't the old RT/Necro hint at milliasaurs/rippers and the catachan devil being possibly tyranid creatures? They certainly look the part.

The Millasarus somewhat resemble the 2nd Ed Ripper Swarps, but that's about it.

Either way, Millasaurs make such terrific critters for DH.

Ripperjacks are basically devolved flying (facehugger) ripperswarms (i refuse to refer them as sky-slashers... terrible naming convention)

They would make great flying rippers, but they are really hard to find at a decent price these days. I used to have dozens of them.
