Does anyone know how I can easily build a dark eldar raider, because I can never get the two halves to fit quite right, and I have 6 in my army, plus a couple ravagers, so I was wondering how I could build them correctly and easily

This works well.

I find building everything onto one side of the hull, then adding the other side works well.

Rubber bands to taste

Raiders are a bit fiddly to assemble, but i found them easier to do than ork Trukks.

Can't say I've tried a trukk, but if their harder than these guys I don't think I'd want to

I would rather put three raiders together than one trukk.

That said if you screw up on a trukk it's nowhere near as noticable

i'll raise you 8 venoms, 4 raiders, 5 razorwings and a Talos (though those i like building...Coven stuff rocks

)

My DE army is very much 'under construction'. Practically nothing is completely assembled, and nothing is painted yet. It will be Wraithkind Cabal, Everspiral Coven and Blade Denied Cult, when i'm done.

My orks on the other hand are complete

. All assembled, but i've got a hell of a lot of painting to do :(

All the DE I have are painted, with the exeption of a ravager and 2 warriors. I am waiting for the summer to really fluff out the army though, to avoid getting too distracted from school

. But yeah as soon as summer gets here i'm ordering a frakload of warriors, reavers, raiders, the FW reaper, and a bunch of other such shinyness

Funny, had no problem with the Raider following the instructions. Do you use plastic glue? By GW or someone else? i used Revell Contacta as always.

follow the instructions. the biggest "sticky" part of the model is fitting the raised (gunner and driver) platforms. if they arent in the correct posistion it will force the hull off center, and create a bad fit.

make sure the hulls are all trimmed of excess flash and mould lines, as well as the deck plates. dry fit them on both sides to make sure it fits, then glue one side, let dry then fit the other in. wrap with rubber bands if the fit still wants to be silly.

ive built 9 raiders and 5 ravagers, and this works well. once that section is done, the rest is easy.... although i seriously suggest painting the gunner/driver/places they stand BEFORE gluing them in place. makes the whole thing much easier to make it look awsome.

My color scheme is simple enough to make it not matter at all, it's literally black and white. And I think I may have too much flash to make them stick well, I'll take a look. But my biggest problem is on the ravager, getting that obnoxious board that your guns go on to stay well in place

You have to use glue thats made with the tears of small children. Stored in a bottle made from the blood on anemics. And sold in stores that hate its patrons. In other words GW brand plastic glue.

Is it that much better? Cuz my cvs cheap glue works great for infantry models of every species I've tried
