So i ordered a few parts from across the pond, but it's been almost 3 weeks now and I have yet to get my package from them.

Is this normal turnaround for them? Seems to be taking forever. Can anyone shed some insight on their own experience with this site?

No, they're usually at my door in a week, tops.

My order took about a week and a half and it was right before x-mas... Maybe drop an email?

I trade stuff from UK a few times before, 1 month is normal if using SAL

The only reason I didn't order from Hoard O Bits was because Bitzbox had what I wanted for less money.

If it isnt to much to ask. What did you spend on shipping?

I've never used this particular service, but I can assure you that 3 weeks shipping from UK to US is extremely slow. Drop them a note because something's wrong.

I generally get FW orders within 3-5 days by UPS
I get e-bay and BitsandKitsUK orders within 3-5 days by Royal Mail air small packages.

When it comes to bits you almost always have to choose between speed or price. I agree 100% that The Warstore has some expensive bits, but if time is an issue there is no better place to order from.

I ordered from Bitzbox before and it took about a month. If I can wait I will order GW bits from European sites and save the money.

I have ordered from them several times and shipping varies. On my larger orders it has taken up to a month to a month and a half. On smaller orders it is usually about 3 weeks, which seems about normal for post coming from Europe.

I don't know about UK to US. But US to UK (or other countries for that matter) US Postal First Class mail - Ive seen take 2 weeks or even 8 weeks.

Most of that delay is due to certain countries customs departments from what I have explored and understand.

Whoops, my mistake.

If others say it's taken over a month then I'll wait a bit more. Their site says if it doesn't arrive in 28 days that I can get a refund, which is fine and dandy but I'd rather have the items I bought.
