In a few months I'll be taking my 40K models on their first out of the house trip. It'll be a long one and they'll be in the car with the other bags. So far I've been storing them in the AOBR box on a shelf. I've been looking at the figure cases sold by GW and was wondering: Are there any better/cheaper options for figure cases on the market? If so, where can I find them?

There are many other producers.

Sabol designs is one.

Battlefoam is another.

They are the two most common 3rd party transports, at least from what I've seen in the eastern US.

I'm currently being an extra cheap bastard and using sabol cases, and custom made battlefoam trays in them, using battlefoams custom tray creator.

KR Multicase is cheaper than Battlefoam, but better than Sabol. It's a very comfortable medium.

best transport for you're models? METAL BAWKSES!!!

Sorry couldn't resist. For serious though battlefoam seems to be good, I'm planning on picking up the chaos transport foam package and toting it around in one of those boxes you're employer gives you to pack up your s#@t and get out good carrying cases those things.

The case itself doesn't really matter as long as the models are in foam.

I've browsed around for a while, and I think I've found a Battlefoam product that fits what I'm looking for in terms balancing quality with price (as well as having a foam tray that my dreadnaught fits into). Thank you all for your feedback!

I can attest to KR multicase. 40 dollers must have fit my 2,500 infantry.
and even more. But you will have to find something for the vehicles.

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood.

Thank again to everyone for the response.

Gamza - That's an ingenious storage option. I'm looking for something smaller than the toolbox in your video looked to be, but once school slows down I'm going to take a look around wal-mart/home improvement stores to see if anything works for what I need.
