His base is... wierdly shaped. how do I field the second rank of chariots?

Like any odd base size he goes to the side of the unit I would assume

I always thought he'd just be the entire front rank himself. Or that you could just add a second chariot next to him and he'd count for two.

Arkhan can have the same sort of Chariot, too, but since that flies, he's probably going to be by himself.

Which you could just have Settra do. He's enough of a beatstick you could probably have him hunt small units by himself.

IF you're dumping that many points on a special character, I would make sure I had a look out roll.

I am not familliar on rules for this situation as I only have 1 unit of normal chariots, but I would say stick him in the middle if you can. This way the chariots have a stronger center, and Settra is less likely to be excluded from making attacks. However, you may not be able to break him away if you need to (chariots not fitting through gaps with him in the unit, etc)

Isn't Settra the guy with the Base that isn't even rectangular? More like a... T, right?
I would assume him to go on the side of the unit, but even there it would look silly...

I'd make him a base like this one:

The strangest part of settra's base is that in the front, he takes up the space of 2 chariots, so it's almost like he could have a chariot on each side and 4 behind him.

You know, I'd kinda like to see an entire army that's just Settra with a few Chariot Busses backing him up. Maybe a unit of Skeleton Archers with a LHP, but that's not necessary with Settra (as he can be the army's Heirophant.)

It says in the rulebook that "If there bases are the same area" as one or more models then displace the appropriate models into the back rank. His area is not the same as two chariots though with the indents.
