Nice job mate, like the concersion! If you want some advice though: your red looks a little pinkish, maybe use some other, redder color next time (but thats just my opinion, dont listen to all the ramblings you hear in the internet. Rule #1 when Painting and modelling is "paint for yourself, not for otrhers".)

But I'd hunt for mould lines if i were you; I often see great conversions with a lot of pontential downgraded by those darn mould lines!

But overall its a really good job, very orky and creative. Keep it up!

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

I like it. I haven't ever seen Tau vehicles used as looted ork supplies before. This is good work. I didn't think the paint job was supposed to be red, but if it was, I have to agree with Merlin. I thought it was supposed to have originally been purple, and now just be dirty. I don't know if my eye just isn't as discerning, but I couldn't spot any mould lines.

Full marks for the conversion, both in the characterful details (harpoons are a great touch!) and the general build, but the finish rather kills it for me. There are mold lines that I can see, but they're not incredibly egregious, for the most part.

I consider the paint to be the serious weak point, personally. The application over the Orks, especially, looks thick and seems to clog surface details. More importantly, the coverage appears incredibly streaky and patchy, more than dirty, with highly visible and rather coarse brushstrokes. Whether this is due to poor coverage over a black basecoat or a coarsely applied and overly thick weathering wash, I can't say.

You've obviously got a good eye for parts and I love the general build, but the fit and finish have a long way to go, I'd say, before the results do your ideas justice.

Really nice looking conversion, but the paint and the mould lines are a bit of a let down. But the creativity of this idea is great.

Keep up the great work!

I was seriously surprised saw this, because I've got an almost completed looted Piranha on the go myself. Is that a Rhino cupola the Ork gunner is standing in? I found that those cupolas will slot into the spaces meant for the gun drones so neatly you don't even need to use glue. It's a very Orky model, and I'd be interested in seeing any other conversions you do.

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

Did you guys know Canada has a friggin desert?

Lol, I love seeing looted pirhanas, reminds me of the one I did before (albeit, with some pretty damn bad painting skills too of course )

Really like this conversion, really has a lot of character in it!

You're not playing the game like I play it...why aren't you playing the game like I play it?! O_O
