From what I've read in the Horus Heresy books, they start out white with a green trim, then when they become the Sons of Horus, they have a green armor.

If you Google them there are some decent pictures to show you what they look like, otherwise check YouTube, probably a tutorial on there from someone.

Luna Wolves were gray with black trim. Use Codex Gray as a base, Skull White for highlights.

yeah prime grey ,paint in the black bits eg the soft armour and rims. then paint astronomican grey over most of the armour {leaving the primer showing in the recesses} then mix white and astro grey 50/50 paint this over 50% of the armour {the raised bits} then a white and astro mix 75/25 paint this around the edges of the armour then use white on the very edges of the armour, then on the black rims useing mechrite red or red gore paint random "rune" shapes and paint the eyes then go over the dark red with bllod red . remember to water all your greys and they should blend better with each other .
