I would really like to hear any opinions you guys might have and if you can give me some tips,I don't have many models yet so there is still time to change the list.
Like I said I still want to keep to a theme,by "uglies" I mean things like ghouls, zombies and necromancers. But I am willing to put up with some of them if it means a stronger force.
I don't know what opponents I'll be fighting so I was just trying to go with a balanced force.
One last thing is that I'm not 100% sure what rules I have to follow in WHFB when building an army,I know in an old edition it was say for 2000pts,1 lord 3 heros,6 core,3 special and 2 rare.
Is it more of less that still,or will I need to change my list.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I haven't played the new codex but for me the Terrorgheist is a must have, the ability to shout key units off the board is just too good

Building armies is now based upon percentages instead. Minimum 25 % in Core, Maximum 25% in Lords, Heroes and Rare each, maximum 50% in special.
Also, I would combine your skeletons into bigger units. 20 will barely last one round of combat.
If you want to keep the same amount of skeleton units, then drop the Full Command in each one and add 5 skellies to each. 25 Skeletons are way better.
I understand that your plan is to use Master of the Dead, but... Just don't count on it too much. You only get one shot at it each turn. Either you spend a lot of Power Dice, or you're opponent will have it easy dispelling it.
Also, I wouldn't have a Necromancer on a Corpse Cart. He's vulnerable on it, easy to single out with range attacks... Plus, he'll only be able to move half as fast as the rest of your army, so he'll have trouble keeping up.
Also, 5 Black Knights are very weak. I consider 10 of them in a unit the minimum, preferably 12. And same goes for 10 Grave Guard. In most cases, your opponent will strike before your Grave Guards, and you want to have five or so to spare before making your own attacks, so you may attack fully from both ranks.

To be fair I do want the Zombie Dragon,so I don't see myself getting 2 kits at 100+ euros, for a Terrorgheist.
But I do know that ability, but there IS a magical weapon in the army book that allows the Vampire Lord to do the same attack,so I might just get that instead.
@TheCF
Thanks for the tip,I had divided the skellies up becuase I thought it was I needed a certain number of units,so I'll put them back together.
I guess I can have the nercomancer walk for a few games untill I get to know my opponents I and what they are capable of then maybe see where he goes,I do want him on the cart for the looks.
As for the Black Knights would 5 Hexwraiths be a better choice?

If you want the Cart for the looks, then that's reason enough to justify it for me
And yes, I would say 5 Hexwraiths are better than 5 Black Knights. Just be careful with them, they're a tricky unit to use, I believe.

It's not the same attack. 2D6+2 for the weapon is not the same as 2D6+(remaining wounds, starts at 6).
Banshees are fluffy at best. I run them because I like them, but don't delude yourself into thinking they are a good, or even average choice.
1) Your general is very exposed to shooting. Get a ward save.
2) Your units are too small. For skeletons, I run 40-50 (5 wide) minimum, and that only buys me 4 to 5 rounds of hand to hand (2 or 2.5 game turns). Grave Guard I'd run at least 15-18 (5 or 6 wide). Black Knights can work as support in 5 man units, but at that level, Varghulf is better.
3) You're pretty lite on magic for 3K. Two level 2's, and a level 1 doesn't leave you with much spell defense. That's compounded by smaller units.
I've had most success with vampires when I divide up my plan into two groups. Guys who kills things: vampires, knights, graveguard, monsters, Ethereals);and guys who hold (Core). Never mix the two in combat, the combat res the holding unit gives up just crumbles away your expensive hitters. So part of the army kills stuff while the other part holds the enemy in place. Once my holding units are gone, the hitting finish off what's left.

Well I've revised the list. The units are bigger now.
Just a few more questions.
Since I don't have the rulebook and there is no ward save item in the VC book, can anyone tell me if there is a magic item in the common items that can give a ward save for 15 pts or less.
(I think this site has some weird copyright when it comes to pts values,so just yes or no if there is an item like that).
Lastly in my 3000 pts I have a second list but this time I replace all my HQs with Vald,Isabella,Konrad and Young Mannfred. Is this better/worse,or just as valid a tactic? (I think I also keep the nercomancer in that list too,but I'm not sure,I didn't keep note of it.)

There is Talisman Of Protection but it gives you only 6+ ward so i think you should go for something better - but the cost will be higher.

One last change.
I replaced the Lord on the Dragon with a Level 3 Lord on a choven Throne, since I was told I need more magic levels in the army.
