ETC team captain of Ireland, Mike Tangney, challenges Reecius to a bay area open mission game here at Frontline. It was a great game and it’s always a pleasure to hang out with Mike.

Hey, I've played against Mike before! Seems like he likes the foot lists, as the last time played, he brought Foot-DE against my nids in a tournament at GK.

Seems like footdar is a tough build to play against. Even though Mike had terrible luck on Turn 1, he still manage to pull off the win. Reminds me of our game (GK vs footdar) where I blew away your avatar on Turn 1 but you still made it made it very tough for me.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

This is a prime example of why at a tournament you always take your opponents list and mark off what is still alive and what is not. There are several times in hindsight (usually days later while writing up a batrep) that I could have won but my opponent forgot a unit or two.

So when you count up the results you do not forget anything...like a unit of wraiths for example.

Yeah, we forgot those.

Mike did indeed beat me! Good for him, that was a fun game.

Great report! So tired of seeing necrons, but not when they look that good. Nice to see wraith guard finding a use, still not worth it imo. For the price of one unit I could start a new army!

I will...never be a memory

How do you guys treat those bridges as terrain? Area? DIfficult to run up the side?

Terrible rules-writing no doubt, but given that you basically can't play it RAW in any kind of sensible way lets you know that it can't be right.

I like that Necron list (big fan of A-Barges/CCB's). I'm assuming this was a 1850 point game? If so, the Necron force was 5 points over. I worked it out on Army Builder per Recius's description at the beggining and found it was 1855 points. No big thing really.

@darkcloud92
Thanks, glad you like our studios' paint jobs!

@Warboss Russ
We play it as open, and difficult to go up the sides.

@Zathras
I may have been over a bit, we just worked up lists really quickly for a casual game.

Army builder isn't always accurate either, FYI. I don't use it for that reason.

Awesome. It's always neat to see different interpretations of Footdar lists and see them still do well.
