So Is The Common Consensus Get Your Conversions at Blue Table Painting, And Your Paint Jobs at Worthy Painting?

It seems to be the consensus on the internet. I'm getting a conversion done by Blue Table now, they aren't going to paint it, but that's not because I think they are bad... I just wanna save some money and paint it myself. I would just like to know for further notice.

Bluetable sucks ( sorry blue moon minis i got you 2 confused once )

For same price you can get Brandon Palmer for godly work.

Main reason why bluetable minis suck is because Level 1-3 paint job painted by a newbie part time painter will never be the same as even a lvl 1 painted by a professional ( i mean ones that won awards )

Save your money sir, dont pay money to have someone practice on your minis....

If only nice people were always good at what they are selling. Having seen Blue Tables painting, I wouldn't pay for it.

Alright, but I have heard they do good coverting... Any validity to that?

DIY. Do It Yourself. You improve with practice over time and to be honest the praise you'll get for your own work is far more than you'll get for purchasing anything. And to be honest, BT don't compare to others out there and do a far, far too basic job for the money.

I mean but I'm doing some serious conversions. I don't have the bits or skill....

I'm going to trust them with this one thing, and then see what I think of them personally.

But I have decided just to paint my models myself.

Technically, they are doing some serious conversions I find that converting is the most fun bit of the whole thing, but that might just be me. I would also recommend that you dip your toe into the converting world. For the surcharge a commissioning place will charge you could probably source the necessary bits from e-bay easily enough.

Well I guess it is semi relevant, being nice lower the chance of them running off with your goods and payment. Like.... Red star one

I would personally try to go about the conversion yourself. Not because of the skills of BT, but because (as was mentioned earlier):
-Dippin' your toes into conversions is good
-Conversions are freakin' fun

Once you get the basics, the world opens up before you. Just plan ahead, and don't start cutting/gluing without an idea first.

Currently finishing up a PoM conversion, amazing (imo anyway )
