I've gotten some decent use out of flamers lately and exploring the other tzeentch units but finding it hard to get screamers to work properly. Sure they are relatively cheap but just being jetbikes without ability to run or shoot and still hindered by assaulting into terrain really makes me question this unit.

Use it to meltabomb tanks maybe? but I feel like horrors will do a better job or even just using more fiends.

Lol. Edit. Thought you were talking about flamers.

Screamers are ok units IMO. I like them more for their mobility and for the threat they represent rather than for what offense they can actually muster. They are more of a psychological threat to armoured opponents and I really like their ability to turbo 24" in objectives games to contest. When I use them, I prefer to take min-sized squads of 3-4 so that they don't take up a lot of points.

I've tried to make them work repeatedly and have yet to have them perform well in anyway. I don't think they are really worth taking.

I have used them a few times. They are actually pretty good. The real disadvantage of them is they cannot run after they DS.

That said, you need to play them smart and they provide a nice buffer against heavy armor vehicles. Further, I have also used them to contest objectives and they are not a bad tarpit unit with T4/4++ when you really need to tie down an annoying unit.

The downside is in a list without a lot of vehicles, it is hard to figure out what to do with them.
