See if somebody at your FLGS needs some extra models. Sell them cheap. Offset losses (since you won't really profit).

If you don't see value in selling them see if someone is in the same position and wants to trade Orks for them. Not uncommon.

Because there are SOOOO many of them already out there on the 2nd hand market.

Besides, the market for limited utility monoposed clip-together models is pretty much restricted to 10-12 year olds.

I don't think 40k needs unit fillers yet.

The game hasn't evolved to the point where you NEED a 40 man unit just to survive the first round of combat.

You have 8-10* heavy weapon marines, add some aobr marines a presto!

You have two squads of devastators to combat squad**

*I don’t know how many heavy weapons can be in one devastator squad (pretty sure its between 4-5)
**Not entirely sure how combat squading*** works
***squading is not a word, but if it was it would be a kick ass verb

I would trade them. The market for selling ABoR Marines might be saturated, but put them up here on Dakka and at Bartertown with some stuff you're looking to trade for.

As long as you are looking for stuff that isn't the most-current-in-demand-bit/unit, you're likely to find someone who has something you'd like to trade for your ABoR marines.

You can use them as casualties, but they aren't great for that being monopose.

Man, I wish all those 10 year olds would stop buying up all the starter set Marines on eBay and online bitz stores and driving the prices up Damn, this icon isn't rolling its eyes nearly hard enough.

Spoiler:

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

LOL so wrong.... When i browse through ebay these squads routinely sell for £12-15 and that's just the ten man unit. You're probably looking at a cool £40 if you sell the lot. Its part of he reason i very rarely use Ebay anymore, the only bargains to be found are the Poorly/improperly tagged lots that pass by unnoticed.

Since my SM army was Blood Angels based and didn't have a pressing need of tactical squads... I started a Crimson Fists army. Really for tactical bolter marines the blackreach guys aren't bad looking models. Just check out the old 2nd edition plastics that went around recently in the old "space marine attack" sets

I'm with this guy.

Marines are a secondary army for me and honestly I don't really mind the poses. They are far far better than the old box set marines from the 90's that I have kicking around.

As far as regular tactical squad line troops with bolters or "unit fillers" they are excellent and far far cheaper than the $40 it now costs to buy a box of 10 marines /w seargent.

1-3 mixed into every squad and you would barely be able to pick them out once painted.

If I were you I would sell them for a couple bucks and buy somehting you want. The market is flooded with them but people buy them up like mad!

If you don't want to sell or trade with them donating them to someone would be a very cool thing to do!

Use them to improve your painting is the best idea I've had so far. yeah they're marines and boring models but I've seen some amazing things done with simple AOBR marines.
